How it works

  1. Set your room. Choose a preset (single-car garage, spare bedroom, 10×10, and more) or type custom dimensions.
  2. Add equipment. Click any item to drop it in. Each piece uses its real footprint in feet.
  3. Arrange it. Click and drag on the floor to move, rotate in 90° steps, and delete. Overlaps and anything that spills outside the room turn red.
  4. Save or share. Copy the link (your layout lives in the URL) or download a PNG.

FAQ

Is the home gym planner free?
Yes — it's completely free and needs no signup. Plan your layout, share the link, or download a PNG at no cost.
How accurate are the equipment sizes?
Every item uses a real-world footprint in feet (a power rack is 4×4 ft, a treadmill about 3×6 ft, a barbell 7.2 ft long, and so on), so the fit and clearance warnings reflect what will actually happen in your room.
Can I save or share my plan?
Your layout is stored in the page URL as you build, so bookmarking or copying the Share link preserves it. You can also download a PNG snapshot of the 3D view.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes. Drag to orbit, pinch to zoom, and tap an item to select and move it. A larger screen is easier for detailed layouts.
